Dani Olmo hints at Premier League transfer with £50m release clause about to expire
Dani Olmo has provided a significant indication regarding his future, as numerous Premier League and Spanish clubs are interested in acquiring him prior to the expiration of his release clause later this month.
Dani Olmo, the Spanish star, has expressed his uncertainty regarding his future, as his £50 million release clause is imminent.
According to Mirror Football, Olmo is the subject of interest from clubs in the Premier League and Spain, and it is anticipated that his release clause will be activated prior to its expiration on Monday. Olmo has been a standout performer for Spain at Euro 2024, contributing two assists and scoring three goals.
Arsenal and Barcelona have been attributed with an interest in the RB Leipzig player, while it is believed that Chelsea and Liverpool are unlikely to pursue a transfer for him. Leipzig will request a fee of £60 million to £70 million for Olmo’s services in the event that his release clause expires.
Olmo responded to Spanish radio station El Larguero’s inquiry regarding the release clause by asserting, “Yes, they [interested clubs] already know what to do.” And when it was suggested to him that clubs would find it “easier” to recruit him before the clause expires, he conceded, “That’s it.” Otherwise, they will be required to engage in a brief battle at a later time. Exactly.”
During an interview with Spanish outlet Cadena SER, Olmo was also asked about his future. He responded, “I am not concerned.” I have individuals who are responsible for managing all aspects of my life. I am preoccupied with the Euros and have insufficient time to contemplate other matters.
“Especially in light of the forthcoming final.” I am not preoccupied with any other matters. Olmo responded, “We shall see,” when asked whether he is interested in departing Leipzig after five years. I am under contract with RB Leipzig. I do not consider it.
“My opinion and intentions are already known to those I respect.” That is the sole factor that is significant. My sole objective is to continue to prevail. When I renewed my contract, I stated that. They desired to create a successful undertaking, which is why I renewed.
“My objective is to acquire titles.” Therefore, we will observe. Ultimately, Leipzig and I have a cordial relationship with the coach and the sporting administration, so there should be no complications.
Nevertheless, Olmo’s immediate objective is to secure a victory for Spain in the Euros. “We are now very close, one step away from glory,” he stated to Mundo Deportivo following their semi-final victory over France.
“We executed the game with precision, and despite conceding a goal, we were prepared to respond with a remarkable goal from Lamine [Yamal] and my own.” In the latter part, we were able to manage it.
