Crystal Palace and Fulham are in the race to sign Arsenal outcast as he seeks regular first-team football

Emile Smith Rowe is anticipated to remain in the Premier League and London in the event that he departs Arsenal this summer.

The 23-year-old, who was awarded three caps by England in 2021 and 2022 and scored one goal, appeared in only four games for the Gunners across all competitions last season.

Smith Rowe is contractually committed to Emirates Stadium until June 2026.

Nevertheless, he is eager to depart prior to the 2024-25 season, as he is in pursuit of consistent first-team play.

The Arsenal academy graduate is the subject of interest for both Fulham and Crystal Palace.

The Cottagers have expressed their willingness to offer as much as £40million, whereas Palace are improbable to match that amount.

In contrast to the assertions of Sky Sports, which assert that Arsenal has already rejected proposals from Fulham and Palace this summer, it is believed that neither club has yet to submit a formal offer.

Since making his Arsenal début in 2018, Smith Rowe has played in a total of 115 first-team matches. He was a member of the England team that won the U17 World Cup in 2017 and the Young Lions team that won the U21 Euros six years later.

He has tallied 18 goals for the Gunners, with 10 of them coming in the Premier League during the 2021-22 season.

Smith Rowe has encountered numerous knee and groyne injuries in the past two seasons, and his return to Mikel Arteta’s squad has been impeded by the exceptional performance of captain Martin Odegaard.
