Cristiano Ronaldo says that Paul Pogba should make a shocking return to Manchester United.
Paul Pogba has had a great career since coming up through Manchester United’s youth system. He has been backed to go back to his old team for a third time.
The Manchester United player Louis Saha thinks Paul Pogba will make one more big move, and he himself would love to see his teammate back at Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old Frenchman is now serving an 18-month cheating ban after the Court of Arbitration for Sport lowered an initial four-year ban.
Even though Pogba is still signed with Juventus, it doesn’t look like he will play for the Italian giants again. But he’s been linked with a lot of clubs lately as he gets closer to playing again. His ban ends in March 2025, so he has plenty of time to get back on the field.
Even though it doesn’t look like the classy player will play for United again, Saha would love nothing more than to see him do so at the club where he began his career. He’s also sure that Pogba still has the skills to perform at a high level, no matter where he plays.
Satoshi said to Paddy Power, “Paul Pogba can go wherever he wants.” People will remember how great he is if he is given the chance to show off his skills again. He can play in the Champions League and for France, and I really like him. I have always been hard on him because having that much ability comes with a duty. When he comes back, he’ll be very determined.
During his second stint at Manchester United, Pogba often fell short of the standards that were expected of him. He played for Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Saha thinks there are some things that make that less of a problem. For example, he points out that other famous players, like Cristiano Ronaldo, have had trouble showing their best form lately for some reason.
Later, he said, “I would love to see him at Manchester United because they lost Scott McTominay in the middle of the field, which is a loss because he did a lot for the team.”
While trying to figure out what went wrong with past managers, it’s clear that mistakes were made. Letting Pogba go was a sign that things are hard to manage at Manchester United. The club’s change wasn’t just Erik ten Hag’s problem; a number of very good players also had trouble. Problems arose with Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and even Cristiano Ronaldo.
“All those things need to stop and hopefully their signings can perform the way they should be performing.”
