Cole Palmer is the only under-21 player in Europe’s top five leagues who has personally helped score as many goals and set up as many others as Jude Bellingham this season.

Cole Palmer has talked about the reason he chose to join Chelsea instead of Manchester City. The 21-year-old defender moved from the Etihad Stadium to Stamford Bridge in the last few hours of the summer transfer window, even though Pep Guardiola’s team had a good start to the season.

Palmer scored a goal in both the Community Shield and the UEFA Super Cup, and he was very important to City’s wins. Even though he had some great games, including one that won a trophy for his old club, he wasn’t playing on the first weekend of the Premier League season.

The kid only played for 10 minutes against Burnley. Palmer then played as a replacement in both of City’s next two games, but didn’t play. He then decided to join Chelsea in search of first-team football, and he hasn’t looked back since.

In the English Premier League this season, he’s played 23 times for Chelsea and has scored 11 goals and set up eight others. Palmer has been a bright spot for Chelsea, even though they haven’t had the best of luck at times. He has even earned a couple of senior games for England.

The player was asked about his choice to join the west London team on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show. Palmer said, “That’s why I came: I thought I was ready to play football every week.”

“I just wanted to showcase my ability week in, week out and thankfully it’s coming off,” he said. “Moving and leaving City was a very hard choice for me.” It’s all I’ve known since I was six years old. I was ready to play football, though. My family and I talked, and the club and I talked. Then I went to Chelsea.”

Chelsea has had a hard time getting into the top half of the Premier League, even though they spent a lot of money in the summer. Palmer was asked what he thought about why west London has so many talented people. He is one of the many new faces at Stamford Bridge.

The star player from City said, “I think there is so much talent at Chelsea.” “You and the fans don’t see it, but it’s only going to get better because of how the manager works with us on the field.”

“I am sure that if not next season, then the season after. It’s a project, everyone is young, and we will see it at some point.” We are still in the FA Cup. If we win on Sunday, we will be back at Wembley. We’ll play each league game as it comes and try to move up the table. We’ll see where we end up.
