John Obi Mikel says that Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, “loves” Chelsea and wants to join the Premier League team.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Osimhen before the summer transfer window opens. He has scored 72 goals in 122 games for Napoli.

Aurelio de Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, has already said that the striker will leave at the end of the season. The striker’s deal has a release clause of between €120 million (£102.6m) and €130 million (£111.2m).

Also, Mikel, who is friends with Osimhen, says the 25-year-old wants to move to Stamford Bridge.

“I am still Osimhen’s agent and I want to get him to Chelsea!” I have 20% of that deal, so I hope it goes well! Mikel said this Thursday at the Web Summit Qatar.

Mikel was asked if Osimhen joining Chelsea was a “real possibility.” He said, “I think there is genuine interest between both.” He wants to go to the club, so I think he loves it.
