Chelsea currently struggling to dispose of five unwanted players in transfer markets that are yet to close

Chelsea is currently in the process of offloading additional unwanted players to nations where the transfer window is still open in order to conclude the summer with a net zero transfer spend.
Yesterday, the Blues sold 19-year-old Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr for approximately £19 million. They are still in search of buyers for Ben Chilwell, David Datro Fofana, Harvey Vale, Alex Matos, and Deivid Washington.

The Saudi window has also closed, but clubs in Turkey, Greece, and Belgium are still able to register players.

Chelsea generated a £6 million profit on Gabriel, a player they acquired from Santos for £13 million last summer. Despite this acquisition, Gabriel failed to make a competitive appearance for the club.

Since his departure, Chelsea has generated approximately £189 million in player sales this summer and are on the brink of achieving financial equilibrium after investing approximately £208 million in new acquisitions.

Chelsea is interested in selling Chilwell; however, it is more probable that he will be sent out on loan. Turkey is his best opportunity to secure a transfer between now and January, as he has been excluded by Enzo Maresca.

Chilwell has been informed that he will not be able to play for Maresca and is now facing months of uncertainty as a result of his inability to secure a transfer during the English transfer window.
