As a winger, Chelsea remains optimistic that Mykhailo Mudryk has a bright future with the club.

That is the assertion made by Fabrizio Romano.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli is being linked to Chelsea, and his prospective arrival at Stamford Bridge could impede the progress of Mykhailo Mudryk towards the starting lineup. However, Romano of Substack has reported that the club has no current intentions to acquire a new winger.

According to the Italian journalist, the organization “continues to believe” that the 22-year-old will be a vital wide receiver for them in the future and has not yet made a decision regarding his reinforcement at this time.

Recently, Mudryk’s form has improved slightly. One coach from his former club Shakhtar Donetsk attributed his struggles at Chelsea to the Blues’ lack of team spirit. Following an entire season without scoring for the club in 2018, he has already scored twice this term.

The Ukrainian has not spent an excessive amount of time at Stamford Bridge, whereas Mudryk has encountered considerable difficulty there.

We believe that a little more time should pass before Chelsea considers acquiring a replacement for him.

With that being stated, an opportunity presented by Kvaratskhelia might be too excellent to pass up. He was outstanding for Napoli in Serie A during his final season, contributing to 22 goals that helped his team capture the championship.

However, if Chelsea do not intend to acquire a player of that caliber, Mauricio Pochettino would be better off investing in Mudryk’s development, on whom the club has evidently spent a great deal of money.

In conclusion, although the Blues ought to maintain their confidence in such a substantial investment, there is no inherent blemish with remaining receptive to extraordinary opportunities.
