Brendan Rodgers needs to make decisions in key spots after seeing Celtic’s predicted lineup for the game against Dundee.
Tonight, Celtic is back in action in the Scottish Premiership against Dundee. The game is sure to be exciting as the Bhoys try to keep their top spot.
Before this game, the home team had eight wins and a single draw in the league. Brendan Rodgers’ team is currently in first place with 25 points out of a possible 27.
The visitors, on the other hand, have only won one of their last eight games in all competitions, so Tony Docherty is trying to stop their current run of form.
After beating Motherwell 3-0 last weekend, the Bhoys will play Dundee to start an important week that will end with a trip to Hampden on Saturday to play Aberdeen for a spot in the Premier Sports Cup final.
So, 67 Hail Hail takes a look at who might play tonight for the Bhoys as they try to win another Scottish Premiership game.
A possible Celtic team to play Dundee as the Bhoys try to stay on top
Kasper Schmeichel will be in goal, and he wants to get his eighth clean sheet since joining the Bhoys in the summer.
The experienced Danish player has helped build a strong defense, though its future will be uncertain now that Cameron Carter-Vickers is back from illness.
Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales will both start some games at right back, with Alistair Johnston filling in for them. It would be unfair to take out any players right now, but Auston Trusty will be the one to go. Alex Valle will fill in for him in the back four.
Also, there will be disagreements in the middle of the field because it is still unknown if Callum McGregor will be in the team for the game.
Paulo Bernardo will continue to play as a defender while taking a long break before the semi-final. He will be replaced by Luke McCowan, who gets another start after scoring against Motherwell and being tied for first place in the cup at the weekend.
Since Reo Hatate played a lot against Atalanta and the Steelmen, he might be given a break. This means that Arne Engels will have another chance to solidify his spot in the engine room.
Nicolas Kuhn comes back into the team on the wings after coming off the bench to help out over the weekend. On the other side, James Forrest is picked, and Daizen Maeda is put on the bench because he is important for coming up against Aberdeen and RB Leipzig in two important games.
Since Celtic striker Adam Idah is still getting checked out after what happened at Fir Park, Kyogo Furuhashi will lead the line as the Bhoys try to get another big win to solidify their title claims.
Schmeichel, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Valle, Bernardo, McCowan, Engels, Kuhn, Forrest, and Kyogo make up your full predicted XI.
