BREAKING: Real Madrid to make a €150 million offer in 2025 to secure Bundesliga sensation
In the near future, Florian Wirtz is expected to incite a significant transfer war, as numerous elite clubs throughout Europe are prepared to compete for his signature in 2025.
The forward for Bayer Leverkusen is anticipated to remain in Germany for a minimum of one additional season before departing in 2025. Real Madrid is among the teams that are interested in acquiring him.
Bayern Munich and Manchester City are also interested in signing the Bundesliga sensation, and Barcelona has recently joined the competition.
Nevertheless, according to the German publication BILD, Real Madrid is currently in the lead in the pursuit of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for the summer of 2025.
In fact, Los Blancos are considered to be in the greatest position to sign the 21-year-old, as well as the current manager of Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso, in a year’s time.
Wirtz is currently under contract with Bayer Leverkusen until the summer of 2027; however, the agreement does not include a release clause.
As a result, Real Madrid or any other club interested in acquiring him would be required to negotiate with the Bundesliga champions and reach an agreement on a transfer fee.
Fernando Carro, the CEO of Leverkusen, has already stated that the club will not sell Wirtz for less than €150 million.
Real Madrid is cognizant of this fact and is prepared to fork over the €150 million required to secure Wirtz in 2025, according to BILD report.
Kylian Mbappe was recently added to the squad of the reigning champions of Spain and Europe, which has already been formidable. Florentino Perez may be on the cusp of assembling an unbeatable strong team, as Wirtz is also on the horizon for the upcoming year.
