Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard are scheduled to return together this weekend.

This weekend, Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is expected to make his return against Brentford.

Due to concussion protocols, Odegaard has missed the Gunners’ last three games since being struck in the face by a projectile during training.

As expected, the Norway squad did not include the midfielder for this international break in preparation for their matches against the Faroe Islands and Scotland.

Additionally, Odegaard has been afflicted with a hip condition, and it was determined that he would recuperate most effectively at Arsenal.

The Arsenal captain is on pace to return against Brentford after a bout with injury.

The 24-year-old spent the previous week at Arsenal recovering alongside players who were not selected for their respective countries.

Manager Mikel Arteta subsequently granted the players the weekend off, and Odegaard utilized the occasion to visit Norway.

This past week, he paid a visit to his family and international counterparts before returning to Arsenal to accelerate his recovery.

Saturday, when Arsenal return to action at Brentford, the club will be hoping Odegaard is available.

Gabriel Jesus, who has resumed full training with Brazil and is in contention to start their World Cup qualifier against Argentina, is another player that the Gunners would like to have in their squad.

Jesus has been sidelined since October 24, when he suffered a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s 2-1 Champions League victory over Sevilla.
Nevertheless, he was summoned up by Brazil and, despite missing last week’s 2-1 loss in Colombia, could start Tuesday night’s match against Argentina in Rio de Janeiro.
