Breaking News: Man United goalkeeper reveals who Manchester United can still finish in the top four position in the EPL table
During the weekend, Man United and Brentford played to a 1-1 draw. Andre Onana had a busy night at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Andre Onana said he was “sad” about Manchester United’s draw with Brentford, but he was still hoping that they could still finish in the top four of the Premier League.
The odds were stacked against United against a failing Brentford team on Easter Saturday, but they played terrible and were lucky to get a point.
Brentford had 31 shots on goal, but four of them hit the post. It was strange that they weren’t ahead after 90 minutes. Mason Mount thought he had scored the game-winning goal in extra time, but Thomas Frank’s team quickly tied the game.
A draw was the least that Brentford could have asked for, and United’s players weren’t in the mood to talk to reporters in the mixed zone on their way to the team bus after the game.
It looks more and more likely that United will not make it to the Champions League after Aston Villa and Tottenham both won in the Premier League on Saturday.
“I feel sad because we are Manchester United, so it doesn’t matter who you play,” Onana told MUTV. We have to win everywhere we go.
“In the end, we lost this game.” Our defense was great, but it wasn’t our best game. Winning was the most important thing. That’s right, it’s hard.
When asked about the saves he made, Onana said, “The team’s win is the most important thing.” You should feel good when you help someone win.
“We didn’t lose the game, but the way we gave up that goal is bad for everyone because we’re all in this together.” Together, we blocked shots and stopped them.
“Because it’s the biggest club in the country, we have to be responsible and always have a good attitude when we play.”
“We need to keep working hard and being humble.” We did it last month, so I know we’ll stick together. I hope we finish in the top four.
The next game for United is on Thursday night at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.
