BREAKING: Manchester United handed transfer hope as Belgian club line up for United ace midfielder despite close of UK transfer window

Manchester United’s operations have not concluded, despite the fact that the Premier League transfer window closed on Friday.

United experienced an active transfer window, with the addition of six players and the departure of numerous others during the summer. However, the activity is not yet concluded, as Christian Eriksen, who appears to be not in Erik ten Hag’s plans, may be permitted to depart, with Anderlecht being a probable destination. Het Belang van Limburg reports that the Belgian team’s chief executive, Jesper Fredberg, has been interested in the former Tottenham and Ajax player for a long time and is eager to acquire him. However, they may delay their approach until the final days of the Belgian transfer window.

The 32-year-old was relegated to the sideline during United’s initial two games, and he observed his team’s lacklustre start to the Premier League season. Clubs in the Belgian, Portuguese, Turkish, and Saudi Arabian leagues have the advantage of an extended transfer window, which concludes on September 6, despite the UK’s transfer window concluding on Friday evening.

Only Bruno Fernandes has accrued more assists in the Premier League for the Red Devils since Eriksen arrived at United from Brentford on a free transfer.

It appears that Eriksen will be further behind in the pecking order as a result of Manuel Ugarte’s agreement with Paris Saint-Germain being finalised prior to the deadline. An optimal destination for him may be Anderlecht, provided that he is enthusiastic about playing for the first team.
