In the year 2025, the Bulldogs won’t face the Crimson Tide until the month of September. However, a recruitment showdown between the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs is imminent.
Khamari Brooks, a four-star edge rusher, is down to his final two recruiting targets: the two legendary SEC colleges.
Jeremy Johnson of On3 reported on Thursday that Brooks will make his college decision public on Monday.
It was predicted by the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine that Brooks would commit to the Bulldogs.
Brooks has long considered Alabama and Georgia to be his top two options, as Johnson pointed out.
Even as late as the second week of June, the edge rusher was being recruited by the USC Trojans and the Texas Longhorns.
While Brooks had planned to visit Texas and USC for formal business, he canceled on June 11, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
After making that announcement, Brooks began to focus on Alabama and Georgia.
