Throughout the offseason, the Boston Celtics have been a busy team. Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday, who were both crucial to their 2024 championship victory, have already been traded.
According to Adam Kaufman of CLNS Media: “It’s hard to believe that anyone believed the Celtics could cut Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis’ salaries without sacrificing any assets.
Rather, they gained three second-round choices, a veteran with several playoff runs, and a 20-point shooter. That is quite remarkable.
Despite the recent moves, there have still been a lot of rumors surrounding what the Celtics will do the rest of the offseason.
This week, Jake Fischer (via Bleacher Report ) reported that the Celtics have had discussions with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Fischer: “The Celtics I think are still very active in taking trade calls, maybe making trade calls. There was some conversation last week between Memphis and Boston about something that we’re looking to track down some more info on.”
