Beto, an Everton midfielder, is “frustrated” at Goodison Park after what happened against Fulham.

Bryan King thinks Beto is mad that he doesn’t get to play much at Everton.

The striker will feel like he should have started in Saturday’s (1–1) Premier League draw with Fulham at Goodison Park, according to the former Goodison scout.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was replaced by Beto after 81 minutes. Theo Walcott was pleased by the forward’s performance, and Beto scored a late equalizer to help Sean Dyche’s team keep their perfect record.

King told Goodison News that he understood how important the goal was to the 26-year-old.

“I believe Beto will believe he should have begun,” King said.

“He seems upset that he doesn’t get to play much for Everton or start many games.” The way he responded to the goal showed that. He was very emotional afterward; it looked like that goal made him feel a lot better.

“He is a troublemaker up front, no doubt about it.” In my opinion, he had something to show when he was brought on, and he did it by scoring the equalizer.

Beto was “frustrated” at Everton even though he scored against Fulham.

In the 2024–25 season, Beto has only played five times in the Premier League and has yet to start a game in the league this season. Before he came on against Fulham, he hadn’t played in England’s top league since September 17. He had been a replacement for Everton in their last four games but hadn’t played.

Because of this, the scorer must have felt like he sent Dyche a message when he scored against Fulham.

Beto has been having a rough few weeks. But because of how well he played off the bench, he will be hoping and expecting to play more for Everton in the coming weeks.
