Before West Ham plays Everton, Chris Beesley gives a report on Jarrad Branthwaite’s health.
Chris Beesley has learnt that Jarrad Branthwaite is fully fit and ready to play before Everton’s game against West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Sean Dyche has had the 22-year-old defender in his team for the last two games. He came on as a replacement in the last five minutes of both games against Fulham and Southampton.
Following the 1-0 loss to Southampton on November 2, questions were asked about the choice. Now, fans want the young defender to start on November 9.
Beesley told the Royal Blue podcast on YouTube on November 4th, “I understand that he’s fully fit now and wants to get back in and get match sharp again.” He should have been back there against Southampton.
Before Everton plays West Ham, Jarrad Branthwaite has to come in and start.
Since the back line has been playing well, Dyche has no reason not to put Branthwaite back in the starting lineup after the 1-0 loss at St. Mary’s Stadium over the weekend.
Clearly, Dyche doesn’t like the way James Tarkowski and Michael Keane work together in defence because the Toffees lost their sixth straight game and are now six games below the relegation zone.
Even though the Hammers are playing awfully badly under new manager Julen Lopetegui, they have players like Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville, and Michail Antonio who can hurt Everton right now.
Before going to the London Stadium, Branthwaite would be a great addition to the defence in the middle, especially if he is fully fit and is just sitting on the bench for the last few minutes.
As it stands, Dyche’s team is only four points above the relegation zone, so all three points against the Hammers would be a very welcome win.
