Everton
As news about the takeover spreads, Everton could give Sean Dyche a new deal.
TEAMtalk says that Dan Friedkin could give Sean Dyche an extension on his Everton deal after he takes over the club.
Sources told the news outlet on October 23 that The Friedkin Group “are not planning” to replace the 53-year-old as manager of the Toffees right now. The Friedkin Group is on track to finish their takeover by the end of 2024.
Another part of the story says that Friedkin will give him the “chance to earn an extension” since his contract ends at the end of the season.
When you think about how uncertain Dyche’s situation was just a few weeks ago, that is a big turn of events.
Sean Dyche should stay as Everton’s boss.
Since he became boss of Everton, Dyche has been through good times and bad with the team.
When the club was docked points by the Premier League twice last season for breaking the PSR rules, it was one of the worst times in its history. The 53-year-old manager led the team through it.
The Everton F.C. had a rough start to the 2024–25 season, but they’ve been playing well lately.
As of now, Everton has won eight of a possible twelve Premier League games and hasn’t lost in four.
Both Iliman Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil have been great for the Merseyside team this season and are a big part of their recent success.
Because the Toffees weren’t doing well about a month ago, fans may have wanted to fire the former Burnley manager, but the board decided to stick with him, and now it looks like it’s finally paying off, which is probably what everyone wanted.
