According to reports, Arsenal have made their position regarding Jakub Kiwior’s departure during the January transfer window crystal obvious.

Interest from Italy has surfaced in the Poland international in recent weeks, following his acquisition from Serie A club Spezia, despite his limited playing time in defense.

In January of this year, Arsenal acquired Kiwior in a £20 million deal, which also included Leandro Trossard and Jorginho. In the final stages of the season, Kiwior formed a strong partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes in response to William Saliba’s back injury.

Kiwior has started four games this season, two in the Carabao Cup and two in the Premier League, accumulating six minutes of playing time in addition to two cameo appearances in the Champions League. His remarks regarding competition for spots earlier this season indicate that the limited minutes are not likely to persuade Kiwior into an early exit.

“We possess some truly exceptional players,” Kiwior acknowledged to Sky Sports. “Very intense competition exists.” I am, however, pleased to be able to compete with such talented athletes. Despite not being named to the starting lineup, I remain committed to exerting maximum effort. “I derive joy from contributing to the team’s success; therefore, the competition does not bother me.”

According to a report by TMW, both AC Milan and Roma are monitoring the center-back with the intention of acquiring him in the coming weeks. However, it will likely be an easy decision for the Gunners, given the absence of Jurrien Timber due to injury and Takehiro Tomiyasu’s participation in the Asia Cup.

Arsenal, despite interest from two of Italy’s largest clubs, deems Kiwior “irreplaceable,” according to Calciomercato. Ben White’s recent injury is additional evidence that maintaining Kiwior for the foreseeable future is the correct course of action, given that the severity of White’s condition remains unclear following his absence from the 3-1 victory over Burnley.

“He wasn’t comfortable in training yesterday (Friday),” Arteta confessed following Saturday’s game. “I noticed that he was not looking right. Ben, however, will not give you much. Constantly desiring to be on the pitch, he attempts to conceal whatever may be contained within. Nonetheless, we emphasized an occurrence there that we have also observed over the past two weeks.

“On this day, we desired to protect him.” “The physiotherapists and medical department made the correct decision, and we will evaluate him tomorrow in order to determine what is going on.”
