Angry Nicolas Jackson claps back at Chelsea icon who criticized him following his goal in victory over Wolves

Nicolas Jackson has advised a former Chelsea player to “shut up” after he scored against Wolves.

The former Blues player criticised Jackson for his performance in Chelsea’s loss to Manchester City last weekend.

Jackson scored two minutes into Chelsea’s 6-2 victory over Wolves, despite his inability to find the target on that occasion.

Cole Palmer restored Chelsea’s lead in an eventful encounter at Molineux, and Matheus Cunha equalised for Wolves. Jorgen Strand Larsen then made it 2-2.

Noni Madueke then scored a hat-trick, and Joao Felix scored in the dying minutes to secure the victory for Chelsea.

Jackson’s execution against City had been criticised by former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel.

Mikel, who was a Chelsea player from 2006 to 2017, stated on beIN Sports that Chelsea has performed satisfactorily. He acknowledged that they have not been flawless, but they have been satisfactory.

We have generated opportunities; however, we have rejected them. And this is merely an illustration of Jackson’s conclusion.

“You can observe that, despite being offside, he dribbled past one, two, or three players and executed a spectacular shot!”

Mikel continued, “You require a striker who is capable of returning a ball into the net, and that is a quality that we do not possess.”

“I am aware that I frequently discuss him and occasionally appear to be disrespectful.” I do not show him contempt.

I believe that Chelsea Football Club requires a top-tier striker capable of scoring a goal.

“It is truly unbelievable; 91 goals for City is reminiscent of (Haaland).”

Jackson retaliated against Mikel by posting on Instagram, “@Mikel_john_obi, please refrain from speaking.”

‘We are sacrificing ourselves for Africa. Don’t speak s***.’

Jackson’s inconsistent performances since joining Chelsea from Villarreal last year have garnered significant criticism from commentators.

Jackson has scored 17 goals in 45 appearances for Chelsea in the subsequent period.

There have been rumours that Chelsea may acquire a striker prior to the transfer deadline, which could result in Jackson being demoted further down the hierarchy at Stamford Bridge.

Nevertheless, Jackson will be optimistic that his performance against Wolves will further solidify his relationship with Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.
