This Sunday, Manchester United and Chelsea will play in a very important Premier League match.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will be in charge of Manchester United for their next three games before the international break. Ruben Amorim will take over on November 11.

This is a match between two teams whose form has been all over the place lately. Chelsea lost to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup last time out.

Premier League great Alan Shearer has now said what he thinks will happen between Man United and Chelsea when they play at Old Trafford on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

Alan Shearer thinks Manchester United and Chelsea will make it to a scoreless draw.

As reported by Metro, Shearer thinks that the Red Devils and the Blues will end up with a scoreless draw. He believes that the home team will “get something out of this game” now that Ten Hag has left.

It will be different at Old Trafford on Sunday, with or without Amorim, when one manager goes and another one comes in. This is especially true after Man United scored five goals in the Carabao Cup, Shearer wrote.

“The players could be really pumped up for this weekend’s game because they’ll have more hope than they did last week against West Ham.”

“I was at St. James’ for Chelsea’s trip last week, and the team was very different from the league game between them. The team he picks to play Man United will also be very different.

This is a tough one to call, which is likely why I’ll go with a score tie.

“Both teams can improve their defence, so I think both will score. Also, Man Utd can get something out of this game since they have a new manager at Old Trafford for the first time in the Premier League, whether it’s Ruben or Ruud.”

Team news for Manchester United vs. Chelsea

At his Thursday news conference, Ruud van Nistelrooy did not talk about any new injuries.

BBC Sport thought that Anthony, Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, and Lenny Yoro might not be able to play again, though.

All seven of them didn’t play in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup win over Leicester City.

Also, Chelsea doesn’t have any new injury worries before their trip to Old Trafford. The only player who can’t play is Jadon Sancho, who can’t play against his home club.
