Chido Obi-Martin, a member of Arsenal’s academy, has tallied an impressive 43 goals in 42 appearances this season. However, it has been reported that he has been unable to reach a renewal agreement with the Gunners.

After the 16-year-old declined a scholarship renewal offer, Bayern Munich is reportedly making strides in negotiations to acquire Arsenal’s youthful prodigy, Chido Obi-Martin.

The Dane has already scored 10 goals in 14 under-17 Denmark caps and has scored an astonishing 32 goals in 18 Premier League 2 games in the academy this season. Obi-Martin has been in exceptional form since March, which has garnered attention from afar.

The forward scored in all nine of his final league appearances this season, including seven goals in a 9-0 victory over Norwich City in April. This was the fifth occasion in which he had tallied four or more goals in a single match this season.

Martin-Obi has scored twice at the Under-17 European Championships in the past month, helping Denmark reach the semi-finals. In total, he has tallied 43 goals in 42 appearances, including international games.

According to The Academy Scoop, Bayern has utilized a breakdown in negotiations between Arsenal and the player to advance in negotiations to acquire the adolescent sensation. It is hypothesized that Borussia Dortmund is also interested in his signature.

Last month, the adolescent expressed his intention to remain in North London; however, this represents a notable departure from his previous stance. Obi-Martin, who has already represented Arsenal’s under-21 team, expressed his desire to remain at the club for an extended period.

“It is an excellent club; I can sense that my training is improving significantly.” I am extremely pleased to be present, as there are numerous exceptional instructors and individuals.

“It is possible that I will be required to play on a permanent basis at the Under-21 level beginning next season.” Given the scarcity of strikers in the roster, this presents an advantageous opportunity for me. Arsenal is a club that provides young players with the chance to perform.
