Everton
A star player for Everton wants to play with an ex-top flight attacker on the Toffees side.
Many teams in the Premier League and outside of England are interested in the 27-year-old striker because his deal is coming to an end.
While the Toffees forward has scored two goals and set up two others this season, he hasn’t been able to directly contribute to a goal in the last five league games.
Calvert-Lewin is an important player for Everton, according to Walcott, and he thinks that Calvert-Lewin’s style of play fits with how Everton organizes their team.
According to the former Arsenal player, if Sean Dyche puts Calvert-Lewin with a striker, it will help him and boost the 27-year-old’s confidence.
Willian said on BBC’s Match of the Day, “Sean Dyche would not want to lose someone like Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the club.”
“Even more so now that they’re moving into the new stadium.”
“He sometimes plays to Everton’s strengths, but I think he needs a partner to help him out and boost his confidence.”
Dyche’s team will play Southampton next week, who are at the bottom of the table. Calvert-Lewin will be hoping to score at St. Mary’s to break his goal drought.
