A Sky Sports commentator is shocked by Everton’s excuse during their 2-0 win at Ipswich Town.

Darren Ambrose said that Ipswich keeper Arijanet Muric couldn’t be blamed for letting Everton score at the near post because Michael Keane’s shot was “unstoppable.”

The often-criticized Everton back, 31, scored a “unbelievable” goal into the roof of the net in the 40th minute to make it 2-0. The Sky Sports commentator was stunned as he watched the play live on the world feed on October 19.

Dwight McNeil did some nice work on the side of the box to find the center back in the Ipswich box. The angle looked too sharp, but the center back hit a “absolutely outstanding” finish with his left foot.

At 3:56 p.m., Ambrose said, “That is absolutely outstanding by Michael Keane.” It started with Dwight McNeil, who was given too much freedom to turn, but that is an amazing finish from a center-back.

“Just a corner routine, it starts on this side. Dwight McNeil, look at this turn; it beats him.” And this pass is amazing. What about that, though? “They might say, ‘You can’t get beat at your near post,’ but that can’t be stopped.”

Michael Keane did a great job for Everton in place of Jarrad Branthwaite.

Keane has been picked on a lot during some of Everton’s worst days on the field recently, including the beginning of this season.

Sometimes his criticism was fair, and other times he was blamed for bigger problems. But since star player Jarrad Branthwaite hasn’t been playing for the last two games, he’s helped the defense do better and keep two clean sheets.

He can be a mess when Everton is holding on at the back, but no one has ever doubted his ability to strike the ball at the other end of the field. The goal he scored at Ipswich might be the best one he has ever scored.

Since Everton bought Jake O’Brien from Lyon in the summer, it was said that they were ready to let Keane go. However, Dyche has played him more often than the new player.

After four straight losses to start the season put the manager’s job in question, it looked like a clear mistake. But at Portman Road, the former Burnley player repaid his manager with a great goal and used that confidence to play a confident back line as well.
