Newcastle United
A Premier League winger was kicked out of the team before the match against Newcastle United.
Alex Isak, a striker for Newcastle United, is back with Sweden after missing two games.
The 25-year-old couldn’t play in Newcastle’s games against Manchester City, AFC Wimbledon, and Everton in the week before the October international break because he broke his toe. Isak also missed Sweden’s Nations League games against Slovakia and Estonia so that he could get better even faster.
Isak came back into the starting lineup for the 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion after three weeks off. Since then, he has scored in three straight games, including last week’s back-to-back home wins over Chelsea and Arsenal.
Isak is going to start for Newcastle when they play Nottingham Forest on Sunday. He will then play with Sweden against Slovakia and Azerbaijan. Emil Krafth, who plays for the same club and won his 100th cap during the last camp, will join him.
But Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga, a star in the Premier League, hasn’t been called up, and boss Jon Dahl Tomasson had to defend that choice.
Tomasson said, “Players join the squad and leave it.” “Football is mean.” There are many other people interested. Isak is back, and Forsberg has set goals and helped score for the New York Red Bulls. It’s sports time. We had to decide what to do.
Elanga has played seven of Forest’s ten league games so far this season, but he hasn’t scored a goal yet.
The player used to play for Manchester United. He was first mentioned with Newcastle in June, when they were scrambling to meet the Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). Newcastle did, however, sign Greek goalie Odysseas Vlachodimos as part of the deal that sent Elliot Anderson to the City Ground from the academy.
Later, on the day of the deadline, Eddie Howe’s team made a last-minute request for Elanga, but talks did not go any further.
Elanga told Fotboll Skanalen in September that regarding Newcastle’s interest, “The atmosphere in Nottingham is good.” Since Newcastle is obviously interested, it means I’m playing good football.
However, Nottingham is also a big club. They’ve won two Champions Leagues, though I wasn’t alive when they happened. Although I’m content in Nottingham and have a job there,
