Everton
A player on loan from Everton is walking a fine line at Chesterfield.
The player on loan from Everton got his fourth yellow card of the season in Saturday’s 5-2 win at Morecambe.
This 20-year-old player will be banned for one game if he gets another yellow card in the next five league games.
Mecalfe has also been sent off against Gillingham, Bromley, and Notts County, in addition to Morecambe.
The young player is on loan from Goodison Park for the season and has played all four league games so far, helping Chesterfield go eight games without a loss. He will want to avoid having to sit out one. If you get 10 yellow cards, you will be suspended for two games.
Tom Naylor, another Chesterfield player, has already been booked five times, and he got his game sentence against Newport County. Darren Oldaker, who has been booked three times, is next in line for a ban after Metcalfe.
Metcalfe had been with the Toffees since he was five years old, but he hadn’t played for Everton as an adult player before joining the Spireites. However, he was on the bench for the first two Premier League games of the season, against Brighton and Spurs.
As of late, Metcalfe said of his time at Town, “I have settled in well.” “I am a young man who wants to learn, and every day I learn something new.” He, Sean Dyche, told me it was a good place to be and that I would enjoy it after I signed. I also talked to Harry Tyrer, who told me, “I’ll love it here, and the fans are great.”
