A new name for cycling’s best team: UAE Team Emirates – XRG until 2025 for Tadej Pogacar’s group.

At the moment, UAE Team Emirates is finishing up their first training camp for the 2025 season. In the meantime, they revealed their new jersey. It also comes with a new title sponsor for the year, which could make the team’s budget even bigger.

UAE’s state-sponsored budget, which is around €50–60 million a season, has already added to the team’s already very high budget. With these funds, the team has been able to hire a very strong and experienced staff and operations team to help a team that has a lot of stars in the current peloton as well as a lot of young riders who could become the next generation’s winners.

Tadej Pogacar is said to make €8 million a season after his historic 2024 season in which he won two major races, the World Championships for the first time, the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France, as well as 12 stage wins and more…

A new bike for 2025, the Colnago Y1R, was also shown off by the team. It will be their new racing bike. The good news for the Emirati team doesn’t stop there, though. XRG has joined as a title backer. This company from the UAE is all about clean energy, and they’ve added another wealthy partner to their team.
