Manchester City
Manchester City is preparing a £100 million double deal for a pair of Barcelona targets.
Barcelona is currently in the process of identifying their objectives for the summer transfer window, which commences in Spain at midnight. They have been associated with numerous athletes, with some exhibiting a greater degree of intensity than others. Two individuals who fell into this category are Joshua Kimmich and Dani Olmo, who are members of Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, respectively.
Hansi Flick, who served as Kimmich’s manager during his successful tenure at Bayern Munich, holds him in high regard. Meanwhile, sporting director Deco holds Olmo in high regard and considers him a viable option for bolstering Barcelona’s left wing.
Barcelona may not have the opportunity to acquire either player, as Manchester City is reportedly considering signing Kimmich and Olmo, according to reports in England (via Sport). The Catalans would have a slim chance of contending, as the combined operations would be valued at £100m.
Nico Williams, Luis Diaz, and Amadou Onana/Mikel Merino appear to be more likely targets for Barcelona at this time, as it does not seem that Kimmich or Olmo are the top priorities. The club’s ability to conduct business in the upcoming weeks will ultimately be determined by its financial situation.
