REVEALED: Man City youngster reveals desire to make LaLiga transfer move this summer
Maximo Perrone, a prodigy from Manchester City, has declared his intention to return to La Liga this summer following a season on loan at Las Palmas. The 20-year-old Argentine had a successful debut campaign in Spain.
Perrone has established himself as a critical component of Las Palmas’ survival, having made 29 appearances and contributed to the team’s possession-oriented approach under Garcia Pimienta. Perrone’s loan is set to expire at the end of June; however, he has advised Marca that Manchester City was not in their plans for him to remain there for the upcoming season.
“We have reached a consensus that there will be one additional transfer,” Perrone stated, emphasizing that this was his primary concern. “In order to continue the adaptation process, I believe that one additional year in LaLiga would be the most beneficial.”
His stance regarding the possibility of returning to Las Palmas for the upcoming season was less definitive.
“I believe it is imperative that we evaluate the available alternatives.” It is still very early. You must remain composed and select the most advantageous alternative.
Garcia Pimienta, the former Barcelona academy coach, has relocated from Las Palmas to Sevilla this summer. It would be a corresponding move if he were interested in bringing Perrone with him. The Argentine may be an alluring option on loan, as Sporting Director Victor Orta is attempting to rebuild the Sevilla squad on a budget this summer.
