23-year-old Manchester City player Erling Haaland send a brutal message to Liverpool and Arsenal as they top there premier League table after their 5-1 win against Bournemouth
On Saturday, Manchester City overtook Luton Town to momentarily take the top spot in the Premier League. This victory was a result of the team’s great performance.
At the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, Manchester City’s striker Erling Haaland issued a warning to Arsenal and Liverpool about their chances of winning the Premier League title. The warning came following Manchester City’s 5-1 victory over Luton Town.
The first goal scored by City was a poor rebound by Daiki Hashioka, which resulted in the ball being placed in the back of the net coming from an overhead kick taken by Haaland. They took a 2-0 lead in the second half thanks to a goal scored by Mateo Kovacic, and then Haaland scored his 20th goal in the Premier League.
All by himself, Jeremy Doku scored a fantastic goal in the 87th minute of the game. After that, Josko Gvardiol added to his amazing performance against Real Madrid, which helped Pep Guardiola’s squad take the lead in the standings.
Arsenal and Liverpool both have a chance to climb ahead of City on Sunday. City is tied for first place. This next weekend, Arsenal will be in first place in the league if they are successful in their match against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium. Liverpool, on the other hand, will play Crystal Palace in an effort to maintain their chances of winning the title.
After assisting City in achieving their 22nd victory in the Premier League, Haaland took to social media to announce that he is prepared to engage in a heated battle with City’s rivals for the Premier League crown.
Following a collection of photographs from the 5-1 victory over Luton, he tweeted, “We keep pushing *flexing emoji*” next to the images.
In the following week, Manchester City will compete in two games that are of critical importance. This is the second leg of the quarterfinal match between Real Madrid and Manchester City, which will take place at the Etihad Stadium. Both teams are currently knotted with a score of 3-3. After that, they will compete against Chelsea in the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium.
