Roy Keane delivers a brutal verdict on Brentford vs Manchester United match draw and speculates their next match against Liverpool

Man United plays Liverpool in the Premier League next Sunday. Before the game, Roy Keane gave United a harsh review.

Before Manchester United’s next seven days of Premier League games against Chelsea and Liverpool, Roy Keane hasn’t been quiet about what he thinks about the team.

In an exciting late win over Brentford, Erik ten Hag’s team thought Mason Mount had scored the winning goal, but Kristoffer Ajer scored an equalizer deep into extra time. With a shocking 31 shots, the Bees completely controlled the game, and United gave up an xG of 3.29.

With that point, they fell behind in the race for the Champions League spots. Tottenham now have eight more points than them, and Aston Villa are eleven points ahead after beating Luton Town and Wolves. In light of this, Keane has launched a harsh attack on his old team for how they played over the weekend, along with his early thoughts ahead of next Sunday’s game against Liverpool at Old Trafford.

On Sky Sports, he said, “You don’t know what United team is going to show up.” It happened a few weeks ago. Liverpool didn’t punish them in that game, but United won. Last night, we saw them play against Brentford, and they were terrible.

“They tied, and they probably should have won, but they were hanging on at the end. We’re having the same talk about this Man United team; you never know who’s going to show up.”

“Any team that plays against Man United finds it easy to get chances and open them up,” I’ve been saying for a few weeks now. They’ll lose badly if they give Liverpool as many chances as they gave them in the cup game.

Ten Hag and his team will play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before Liverpool comes to Old Trafford for the second time in four weeks. Over the weekend, the Blues also lost points, with Burnley getting an unusual draw that made Mauricio Pochettino look more likely to be fired.

The last time these two teams played, United won despite being favored, and they will be trying to do the same thing against Chelsea to get some momentum before their game against Liverpool.
