Kyle Walker speaks up about the ‘foul’ committed by Man Utd forward Rashford before Man City goal vs. Man Utd

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, got angry when Manchester City scored the first goal in their 3-1 win over them.

Kyle Walker, captain of Manchester City, doesn’t think he fouled Marcus Rashford before his team tied the game against Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

When the game went into halftime, City was down 1-0. Eleven minutes into the second half, Phil Foden scored an amazing goal with his left foot that went straight into the far corner. While Foden and his teammates were celebrating, United boss Erik ten Hag was protesting on the sidelines about what he thought was a foul on Rashford.

Walker’s challenge on Rashford made him fall quickly, which gave City back the ball and they moved it up the field. Because Ten Hag was so angry about the choice to let play go on, he got a yellow card for his protests.

Even though both the on-field referee and VAR looked at Walker’s hit, he didn’t think there was anything wrong with it that should have led to a free kick in United’s favor.

Walker told Sky Sports, “To be honest, I didn’t look back at it, so I don’t know.” “I didn’t think it had much in it.” I probably did what I always do, which is put my arm around someone.

“The ref saw it and checked it on VAR, so United just need to accept that as the truth.” We’re now at the other end, and it’s kind of like sod’s law, isn’t it?”
