Liverpool have submitted offers to sign £650,000 a week star – Reports
Liverpool are in competition to acquire Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, who may depart the club for nothing in the coming summer.
We reported via L’Equipe commencing a few days ago that the Reds are determined to sign the French international in 2024.
Recent Spanish reports indicate that the Merseysiders are in the most advantageous position to acquire Mbappe.
The Anfield club are in the best position to acquire the services of the Les Bleus forward, who is regarded as one of the greatest players in the world, according to Cadena Ser (via Sport).
According to the news source, Liverpool has been monitoring the 24-year-old’s predicament for some time and has even “made offers for him.”
As an adolescent, Mbappe won the FIFA World Cup in 2018. At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he was awarded the Golden Boot.
He has been in outstanding form for PSG despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, scoring ten goals in just nine league appearances for the Ligue 1 giants.
The former Monaco player is capable of performing any position in the attacking third and would be the ideal acquisition for Liverpool should they decide to sell sensation Mohamed Salah in the coming summer.
It will be enthralling to observe whether the transfer can be afforded by Klopp’s squad. A transfer for Mbappe would earn him a substantial signing-on incentive in addition to a bounsman-like salary.
Presently, the Frenchman is earning a staggering £650,000 per week in salary. We shall monitor the development of the transfer controversy and provide regular updates.
