Curry’s Hype: Stephen Curry Shines Spotlight on Ja Morant’s Explosive Potential

The Golden State Warriors have kept a low profile this offseason, not adding a single player to their roster until the 2025 draft.

In preparation for next season’s title run, the Warriors were expected to be highly active this summer in adding to their roster with key players Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, and Stephen Curry.

On the contrary, the Warriors have only added players through the draft to their roster, and that is mostly due to the never-ending drama involving restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga, who the Warriors are still waiting to hear about his future plans.

Despite this, they are still expected to make moves this offseason and with Curry leading the way, they will likely be a contender once again next season.

Curry was in the news earlier this week as he was on a video posted by the Good DudeYouTube channel where he had high praise for Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant for one key reason.

“Ja Morant. I think, pound-for-pound, he is the most athletic dude in the league,” Curry said

In the video, Curry also compared Morant’s athleticism to both Rusell Westbrook and John Wall’s in their prime but said Morant’s ability has more finesse.

This is high praise coming from Curry but it does make a ton of sense as Morant is one of the most athletic players the NBA has seen in quite some time.

From throwing down vicious dunks due to his extreme bounce to blocking shots on the other end, Morant is one of the most fun young players to watch in the NBA currently and there is no doubt that the Grizzlies star has earned praise from Curry due to his skills.
