Grizzlies JJJ In Lock Down: Contract Extended to 2030 as Memphis secures Jackson Jr.

The All-Star forward Jaren Jackson Jr. was signed to a $239.9 million deal by the Memphis Grizzlies, keeping him with the team through the 2029–30 NBA season.

Jaren Jackson Jr., an All-Star forward, was formally signed to a record $239.9 million contract by the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.

The deal would keep Jackson Jr. in Memphis until the 2029–30 NBA season.

Memphis cleared the cap space required to execute the extension the day before the deal was finalized, thanks to a buyout arrangement with guard Cole Anthony.

Jackson received a substantial increase to $33 million for the 2025-26 season as a result of contract renegotiation, which led to the extension.

The new agreement is effective for the 2026–27 fiscal year and starts at $46.2 million per annum.
