MaRk Cuban’s Bold Prediction: Kyrie’s Return to Mavs Court is Closer Than you can imagine!!!

Kyrie Irving is expected to return and play for the Dallas Mavericks during the 2025-26 season, according to Mark Cuban, the former governor of the organization.

As reported by HoopsHype, Cuban made the statement while appearing on SiriusXM NBA Radio with Justin Termine. I see. I get that he’ll be cautious, but come on, this is Kyrie—the man lives for the game and won’t miss a beat unless absolutely necessary.

Irving had surgery to repair a damaged anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee in March.

While an exact target date for his return is unknown, ESPN’s Shams Charaniareported on June 26 that Irving was “hopeful” about his rehab and targeting the “January-February period” of Dallas’ 2025-26 campaign.

Irving was rewarded for his efforts with a three-year contract worth $119 million from Dallas after declining a $43 million player option for the 2025-26 season.

The Mavericks will rely on Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson and incoming rookie Cooper Flagg to take on a larger offensive role until Irving is able to potentially return.
