Two Thoughts from Ja Morant Following Game 6 of the NBA Finals

A seventh game will be played in the 2025 NBA Finals. On Thursday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder had what was perhaps their worst postseason performance, losing to the Indiana Pacers.

The Pacers led halfway through the first quarter and never let it slip away, cruising to a near-wire-to-wire triumph.

Many picked Oklahoma City to win Game 6 since Tyrese Haliburton was out with a calf injury.

The Pacers, on the other hand, won 108–91 and set up a seventh game for Sunday at Paycom Center.

Star forward Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies is just one of many NBA players who have been responding to this result.

The Grizzlies point guard spared no words in his X post.

Morant is a six-year NBA veteran. The Grizzlies haven’t won a playoff series in four years (2022) after getting swept in the first round by the Thunder.
Memphis has already made a lot of moves this summer, selling Desmond Bane, who was Morant’s backcourt companion, to the Orlando Magic.

Morant and Bane, one of the most exciting offensive duos in NBA history, are no longer together.

Even though Morant has stated he is staying in Memphis, Grizzlies trade rumors have continued since Bane left.

The two-time All-Star’s contract with the Memphis Grizzlies is worth $197 million and is about to start its third year.

In Orlando, the Grizzlies will assemble a core around him, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Bane, barring any other moves.
