Two numbers that show how deep and consistent Kentucky’s basketball team is

This season, Kentucky basketball has been great, with guys like Otega Oweh and Koby Brea setting the tone on offense. Both have been very consistent, which has helped the Wildcats get off to a great start.

This season, Oweh, a 6’4″ guard, has scored at least 10 points in every game. His average of 15.7 points per game and 52.5% field goal percentage make him a dependable force. As long as Oweh can attack the basket and make 75.5 percent of his free throws, he is always a threat. His all-around game is shown by the fact that he grabs four rebounds and gives out eight passes per game.

Brea, on the other hand, has found his rhythm from past the curve. There has been at least one three-pointer made by the sharpshooter in every game this season, making him Kentucky’s most dangerous long-range tool. Brea scores 12.2 points per game on average and shoots an amazing 53.1% from three-point range and 52.7% overall. His quick scoring makes defenders work harder, which gives his teammates chances.

Kobe needs to get better at hitting the basket, according to Mark Pope. This will help him get free for his famous three-point shots. He’ll get even more hits if he can get that part of his game going.

This season, six Wildcats players are scoring over 10 points per game, and Oweh and Brea are just two of them. Kentucky is one of the hardest teams to protect in the country because they score points in a variety of ways. Teams can’t focus on just one or two players because they leave other players open. This depth has been a big part of their good start.

As Kentucky gets ready for tougher SEC games, it will be very important that guys like Oweh and Brea keep putting up good numbers. Because they are consistent and have a lot of players who can help, the Wildcats are showing that they can compete at the top level this season.
