Just In: Alabama can “absolutely” make the playoffs with three losses, according to an ESPN CFP expert.
A lot of Alabama fans and the local news sources no longer think the Crimson Tide will make it to the College Football Playoff.
Most people are now focused on the Iron Bowl and want the Crimson Tide to only think about beating Auburn after their third loss to Oklahoma. But a well-known national reporter still thinks Alabama can make the playoffs even though they have three losses. Heather Dinich, an expert on the College Football Playoff for ESPN, talked about how the Tide can “absolutely” make the playoffs on Monday’s episode of Get Up.
Dinich said about Alabama, “All it takes is one upset like Notre Dame losing to USC, and if that happened, the Allstate Playoff Predictor says Alabama a 50.1% chance to get into the College Football Playoff.” It was Indiana that I took out of the pool, and then Alabama and Ole Miss both lost. The state of Indiana is back in. So, who knows? When will the next thing go wrong?
The most recent CFP scores will come out on ESPN on Tuesday night.
We’re going to see how crazy rivalry week is.
