Christian Eriksen will be let go by Ruben Amorim because “intensity” is the most important thing at Manchester United – Fabrizio Romano

So that the centre is more intense, Christian Eriksen is likely to be let go by new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.

If you ask trade expert Fabrizio Romano, the Portuguese head coach is all about “intensity,” and the 32-year-old Dane probably won’t fit that bill.

I don’t think Christian Eriksen will stay at Manchester United under Amorim after this season, Romano said on his YouTube account.

A writer from Italy paid a lot of attention to Amorim’s style of play, which will be active and full of energy.

And while Amorim thinks about what he needs to do in the transfer market, he will want to work with his present players first. Romano confirmed that “the first message from Ruben Amorim to Manchester United directors and management is that we need to bring serious players.”

In his first meetings and talks with Manchester United, this was the most important word he used.

Some of the present United players will have to deal with this feeling of doubt. Romano talks about players like Casemiro and Eriksen who have “lots of quality, big history, and big personality,” but he wonders if they can fit the Portuguese manager’s style of play in general.

It is expected that Manchester United will bring in new players starting in 2025, Romano said.

Even though United won’t be buying any players from Sporting Lisbon in January, he said that this might change in the summer. He was referring to Viktor Gyökeres, a striker who is in good form.

Casemiro and Eriksen worked well together in the middle of the pitch, which was a big part of Erik ten Hag’s first season at Old Trafford.

Last season, though, he lost a lot of steam, and most people thought he would leave in the summer.

Still, Eriksen was still at Old Trafford when the transfer window ended. He has been one of the biggest surprises of the season so far.

Ericsen is the only player other than Alejandro Garnacho to have scored more goals in all categories. The 32-year-old has been especially useful in the Europa League.

After United tied FC Twente and Fenerbahce 1-1, he scored two goals that earned them points. He also set up two goals in the 3-3 draw at Porto.
