Noussair Mazraoui, a defender for Manchester United, says that he and his teammates are too good to be in 13th place in the Premier League.

United is at the bottom of the table because they have only won three of their first ten Premier League games.

The Red Devils have only 12 points after 10 games, which is the fewest points they’ve had after 10 games since the 1986–87 season.

In Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea, Mazraoui was one of the best players for his team, doing great work in a spot he wasn’t used to, left back.

The Moroccan international player was great on defence and offence, and fans and the media both gave him high marks.

He talked to MUTV (through the Independent) after the game and said, “We fought really hard.” But I think we deserve to win in the end if you look at the game and the chances we made.

“I don’t think you can say that’s where we belong if you look at the table where we are now.” That’s something everyone knows. That’s something we know.

“That’s not us at all, so we need to step up and leave that place really, really quickly.”

He also said, “You see that (against Chelsea)?” There are too many good things about us for us to be in that position.

Some people said the match was too rough, but Mazraoui didn’t agree. He thought it “was really passionate” because both teams wanted to win and get all three points.

Additionally, the 26-year-old said, “I think it was a great game for the fans to watch, even though there were only two goals.” Everyone should watch this great game.

They will be playing at home against PAOK FC from Greece on Thursday, and Mazraoui and his teammates will definitely want to get their first Europa League win of the season.
