TON-UP BHOY’S UNIQUE GOAL

When Brendan Rodgers’ team played at Dens Park on April 28, 2017, it was getting close to the end of the season and the title.

On Tayside, the game was tense until the evergreen winger scored twice to give the Hoops a tense 2-1 win. The hosts put on a lot of pressure to get an equalizer after Adam Idah accidentally blocked a shot past Joe Hart.

That set up a thrilling finish, but when the dust settled, the hosts still had a three-point lead at the top of the Premiership table with only four games to play.

THE FIRST…When Celtic played Dundee at Dens Park in April, James Forrest scored the first goal with a powerful right-foot drive.

While Philippe Clement’s Ibrox team was under a lot of heat in the last few games, Celtic won their third straight title with an eight-point lead.

When the teams play tonight at Parkhead, Forrest and the rest of his team will be hoping that there isn’t any pressure.

Another goal for the 33-year-old forward is against the Dens Parkers. Since his first season in 2009–10, the attack has scored every year. However, he has yet to score in this season.

It’s good for the boss and the players to use the squad, said Forrest, who has scored more than 100 goals for his only club. He has been an important part of Rodgers’ team.

“We might have had a week between the first four games of the season, but now they’re coming at us like a storm.”

It’s part of every game at a big club like Celtic, and the boys are all looking forward to it.

NUMBER TWO…A left-foot shot from James Forrest scores the winning goal, and Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah get a good look.

“I’m really enjoying football. The preseason was fun, and I’ve enjoyed helping the team when I’ve been able to.”

“It shows how much faith we have in the team, and you can also make two or three changes throughout the game using different players.” That will definitely help us over the next couple of months.

Speaking to Celtic TV, Forrest said, “That’s always been the case since I’ve been at the club for years.”

“I believe it’s beneficial to have more choices and sometimes change things up, especially in the forward positions.

Everyone is always on edge because they know they need to perform and help the team when they get the chance.

This season, all of the boys have been doing that.
