After Real Madrid’s comeback in the Champions League, Manchester United player Alejandro Garnacho sends a message to Vinicius Jr.
After Vinicius Jr scored a hat-trick in Real Madrid’s comeback win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday, Alejandro Garnacho, a winger for Manchester United, praised him.
Borussia Dortmund led by two goals at halftime, making it look like Carlo Ancelotti’s team would lose unexpectedly at the Santiago Bernabeu.
But the leaders of the Champions League came back strong in the second half, with goals from Antonio Rudiger, Lucas Vazquez, and Vinicius Jr. (2), giving them a 5-2 win.
Most people think that Vinicius Jr. will win the Ballon d’Or on Monday instead of Rodri, the defender for Manchester City. This is because Vinicius Jr. was a key part of Real Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League double last season.
Vinicius Jr. praised his latest great game for Madrid by writing on Instagram, “We are Real Madrid!”
United winger Garnacho replied to the player’s post with the words “Big inspiration.”
Garnacho has shown his respect for Vinicius Jr. before. In May, he replied to another post by the Madrid winger with, “Best player in the world.”
He also switched clothes with Vinicius Jr. when United played Madrid in a friendly before the season in July 2023.
Ancelotti said this about Vinicius Jr. after Madrid’s comeback against Dortmund: “I can say that it’s rare to see a player play a second half like Vinicius did.”
“And not because of the three goals, but because of who he is; he’s amazing.”
Vinocious will win the Ballon d’Or for what he did last year, not for what he did today.
“These three goals will definitely count toward next year’s Ballon d’Or.” People blow on him because he can make a difference.
