Everton
After Finch Farm’s exit was announced, Everton’s star player joined a top-flight club.
A student of Everton Academy Liam Higgins has signed a fixed deal with Bala Town, a club in the top flight of Wales.
Bala, a team in the Cymru Premier, announced the news on their official X page on October 18. They signed the player after Everton let him go in the summer.
Higgins, who is now 21 years old, used to play regularly for Everton’s Under-21s team. He started at Finch Farm when he was 15 years old and worked his way up to play for Wales’ Under-17s and then their Under-19s.

Higgins never played for Everton’s first team, but he was still very well thought of at Finch Farm. When his last deal ended, he was free to go to college.
At age 21, the midfielder needs to play NFL football, so he moves 70 miles south to start his career.
Bala have played in European competition nine times in the last twelve years. This year, they made it to the first group round of the Conference League.
In 2020-21, the seventh-placed Cymru team made it to the second qualifying round of the Europa League, but were beaten by Standard Liege, who had won the competition 10 times before.
Sean Dyche has given young players chances before while at Goodison Park. Roman Dixon and Harrison Armstrong, two teenagers, have both played in the Premier League this season, but Higgins was not one of them.
