After getting off to a slow start at Goodison Park, Jake O’Brien, Beto, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could all leave Everton in January.

The Toffees have had a rough season so far—they have only won one Premier League game—but they have won all three of their most recent games.

Because Sean Dyche has chosen to use the same team every week, it has been harder for some fringe players to get chances.

The name of Jake O’Brien

Since joining Everton in the summer, the new player has had a tough time because Dyche doesn’t seem to trust him to start games.

This doesn’t make sense since the Republic of Ireland player joined the club for £17 million in January from Lyon [Sky Sports].

It’s possible that John Textor, the owner of the French team, had something to do with this move. Textor was linked with a takeover at Goodison before Dan Friedkin took the lead in that race.

Since the 23-year-old has only played 26 league minutes so far this season, Everton may sell him in January to try to get back as much of their £17 million loss as quickly as possible. He could also go on loan to get some regular football.

Following a usually bad time in England, it won’t come as a surprise to fans that the striker could be cut at Goodison.

He joined from Udinese more than a year ago, but the 26-year-old hasn’t been able to make it into the starting lineup and has only scored six goals in all categories.

This alone would be enough for the Guinea-Bissau forward to be moved on, but Italy is actually interested in signing him.

Gazzetta reported on October 13 that Juventus and Roma were interested. A return to Serie A in January is also a possibility.

It seems like a no-brainer for Dyche and his team to try to get back as much of the £30 million they spent on the scorer [BBC Sport].

David Calvert-Lewin

The English player has been a mainstay at Goodison for a long time, but his injuries and inconsistency on the field have caused a lot of anger.

The 27-year-old is in the last year of his deal with Liverpool, and he has also been linked to Juventus and Roma [Corriere dello Sport].

According to Goodison News, the Toffees want the striker to sign a new deal, and they say that coming up with new terms is their top concern.

So, if the club and player can’t come to an agreement, it might be best for everyone if the player is sold in January.

It’s likely that Everton will want to keep Calvert-Lewin, but if they can’t, they’ll want to get a fee for him that they can use over the winter.
