Manchester United
Manchester United’s return amount for Álvaro Carreras has been revealed.
In the beginning, Álvaro Carreras went from Manchester United to Benfica on loan. The deal was later made permanent for about €6m.
The left back had a hard time getting into the Liga Portugal team at first, but things have been much better for him this season, and the last few weeks have been a big moment for him.
Manchester United and other big European teams are reportedly keeping an eye on the 21-year-old Portuguese player with the intention of making a move in the future.
They always keep an eye on Benfica, so the Red Devils would always know how Álvaro Carreras is doing.
When the young player signed a permanent deal with Benfica, it was agreed that he would have a €50 million release clause. However, Manchester United negotiated a much lower buyback option for him.
According to Monday’s issue of Record, the buyback clause is €20 million. Because of this, Benfica is worried that it will be easy for the Premier League club to get the player back.
It’s an interesting chance for Manchester United, but they will probably wait to make a move until Álvaro Carreras keeps up his good form.
