BREAKING: Premier League side Crystal Palace sign Swedish midfielder on a three year deal
Crystal Palace has acquired My Cato, a Swedish international, on a three-year contract from IFK Norrkoping.
Cato, a 22-year-old midfielder, was appointed captain of Norrkoping in 2023 and received her first call-up to the senior Sweden squad this summer.
She has previously played for Eneby BK, Kvarnsveden IK, and Linkoping. She is the 10th transfer of the summer for Palace, the Women’s Championship winners, as they prepare to join the elite.
“I am exceedingly delighted to be present.” I am eager to become a member of Crystal Palace. Cato stated, “The Women’s Super League is an exceptional league with an abundance of talented players.”
“We are thrilled to have My join the club,” stated Grace Williams, Palace’s director of women’s football.
“My is a really exciting talent whose young potential has shone in Sweden, and we’re really excited to now have her as part of our group.”
