(4) key Man United key players to join the formation vs Liverpool for the FA CUP
Rasmus Hojlund has an injury that has kept him out of Man United’s last four games, but he trained this week.
Manchester United will play Liverpool in the FA Cup quarterfinal, and Rasmus Hojlund and Harry Maguire will be back on the field.
Hojlund hasn’t played in four games because of a muscle problem, but he was still on Denmark’s team for their matches against Switzerland and the Faroe Islands this month.
Hojlund will start against Liverpool, as Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand said last week, and United manager Erik ten Hag confirmed that the 21-year-old has finished a full training practice.
Maguire was also picked for the England team. He can play again after missing the last three games with an illness that wasn’t explained.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mason Mount started full training again on Tuesday after being out for a long time. Mount hasn’t played since November 11 and has been worked back into the team slowly. He might not be able to play again until after the March internationals.
Ten Hag said, “We had a good week.” “The players you mentioned—Hojlund, Maguire, and Wan-Bissaka—got back on the field. They did some work beginning of the week, and they all had a session today and are training.”
“I believe they will be able to play.” We have one meeting tomorrow. We need to wait and see how they get better, but it looks good.
“Tom Heaton is also back. Also, what was really good It looks good that Mason Mount trained with us all week. He did some half-day sessions with us the first part of the week and some full-day sessions with us during the rest of the week.
Altay Bayindir, the back-up goalie, is out with a muscle strain, and Jonny Evans is out with a knock. Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, and Anthony Martial are also out for a long time.
