The Fall Out Begins as Grizzlies and Zion Pullin Move in two different directions

Michael Scotto, a source close to the NBA, reports that the Memphis Grizzlies have waived guard Zyon Pullin. As the 2025–26 season approaches, the club is still working to finalize its roster, although this move clears a position for a two-way contract.

The 24-year-old Pullin saw action in just three games for the Memphis Grizzlies this year, and in that time he went scoreless, with no boards, assists, or rebounds.

While playing for the Grizzlies, he was mostly seen in the G League, where he was more reliable.

Pullin originally inked a two-way contract with the Miami Heat on July 1, 2024, after going undrafted in the NBA Draft.

On January 10, he signed a two-way contract with the Grizzlies after playing for the Sioux Falls Skyforce and the Memphis Hustle.

The former Floridian guard split his time this season between Sioux Falls and Memphis’ G League club, playing in 34 games.

With a field goal percentage of over 50%, he contributed 15.0 points, 4.6 boards, and 4.6 assists every game. While playing for the Hustle, he had a stellar streak in which he averaged 18.8 points and 5.6 assists per game.

Forward PJ Hall and rookie Javon Small, the Grizzlies’ 48th overall choice in the 2025 NBA Draft, now have two-way contracts as a result of Pullin’s departure. The front office has some leeway going into training camp since one two-way spot is still available.
