Some Man United players might be able to play this weekend, but they’ve already lost two more players to injury this week.

Altay Bayindir, Manchester United’s backup goalie, will not be able to play in their FA Cup quarterfinal against Liverpool because he has a muscle strain.

This month, Turkey will play matches against Hungary and Austria, but Bayindir will not be with the Turkey national team. Goalie Tom Heaton of United has been out for eight games with an injury but has started full training again this week. He will sit on the bench for the game.

Summer sign-up Bayindir only played once for United, in the fourth round of the FA Cup against Newport County. He didn’t want to play against Liverpool.

This weekend, Jonny Evans is also out because he agreed he needed some time to heal from a knock he’s been dealing with. Evans has been the starter in the last two games, against Everton and Manchester City.

On Thursday, England boss Gareth Southgate said that Harry Maguire is back in training. The center back could play with Raphael Varane instead of Evans.

Rasmus Hojlund, who has been out for three weeks with a muscle injury, was mentioned by Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand to start against Liverpool. Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, will talk about his health at his pre-game news conference this afternoon.

“Of course Rasmus will play against Liverpool on Sunday, and he needs to do well in the game,” Hjulmand said on Tuesday. “We expect that.” We’re in touch with United. Erik and I have talked about it, and we think it will happen.

“But it is clear that he has to go through the match well, and there must be nothing wrong with him after the game, for it to be possible (for him to play for Denmark).”

Maguire was put in Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming matches against Brazil and Belgium. Hojlund, on the other hand, was put in the Denmark squad.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mason Mount started full training again on Tuesday after being out for a long time.
